Years ago it was thought to be cool to wear the longer bathing suit shorts and have the tan line right above the knee, but more recently the trend is to show off the legs with a higher cut bathing suit. The beach tan line is very appealing to most people because they see it as a sign of attractiveness and health.
It is a tanning choice that only you can make. So, whether you go with no tan lines or a beach tan line just feel good that you are enjoying the sun and the warm weather.
